The AC10 is a programmable controller capable of 30MIPS with a corresponding interrupt latency of 167ns. Parallel, RS232, CAN Bus, and quadrature encoder interfaces are available. Three (3) H-bridge amplifiers each provide up to 3A current at a maximum of 50V. All connections are available on a single 56pin ELCO/EDAC 516 Series connector.

The AC10 is an adaptable controller with the following features:
Based on Michrochip's dsPIC30F6010 capable of 30MIPS with a corresponding interrupt latency of 167ns
3 H-bridge amplifiers capable of driving 3A continuously, 6A peak up to 55V
Quadruple differential line receiver that meets or exceeds EIA-422 and other standards
RS232 transceiver with integrated ESD protection
High speed CAN transceiver that supports speeds up to 1MB/s
One reliable UL recognized 56 pin connector has gold plated contacts with a current rating of 8.5A each
Small size
Test and demo software with C source code

Options
Regulator IC5 is not populated on a standard AC10. If it is needed, please request that on your order.
A receptacle with nut on the solder-side of the AC10 is the standard connector configuration. Please indicate any different configuration on your order (receptacle or plug, nut or screw, solder-side or component-side, or no connector at all).
The AC10Basic is a low cost version without amplifiers and connector. Since the circuit board is the same, the components can be added as needed.
The AD1 is a cable that connects an AC10 to Microchip's ICD2 for development, debugging, and programming.
Extensive application development support is available by RenaiSys LLC (www.renaisys.com) at their regular rates and conditions. AC10 controllers have been used as motion-controllers with DC or BLDC motors as well as stepper motors. In addition, they have been used for controlling fluorescent and incandescent lighting systems. Rotary and linear quadrature encoders as well as hall sensors, limit switches and analog potentiometers have been used as feedback devices to the AC10.
